Prepared environmental assessments, plans and permits for the installation of a new 50m bridge near Whitecourt, AB. Conducted all agency liaison and Transport Canada referrals. Designed and installed bridge over Timeu Creek based on initial environmental site assessment and Environmental Management Plan and all provincial and federal legislation.

Chilako River

WestCan designed and installed a rock revetment wall including erosion control blankets and plantings on the Lower Mud River Road to prevent further erosion from the Chilako River.

Designed a 24.38m steel detour bridge near Dawson Creek, BC. Acquired all relevant design/environmental permits. Prepared environmental plans, traffic plans and quality management plans for works. Provided materials, machinery, supervision, environmental monitoring and labour to install the structure for Caribou Road Services.

Moraine Creek Bridge and Wildlife Underpass

Prepared Environmental Protection Plan for new 100m steel bridge and 8m Wildlife Underpass in Banff National Park, AB. Acquired all relevant environmental permits and conducted environmental monitoring as required for Surespan Construction Ltd.

Designed a 48.76m steel detour bridge near Fort St. John, BC. Acquired all relevant design/environmental permits. Prepared environmental plans, traffic plans and quality management plans for works. Bilston Bridge Replacement

Prepared environmental assessments and plans, and obtained permits for the replacement of the Bilston Bridge in Saanich on Vancouver Island, BC. Conducted all agency liaison, turbidity monitoring and environmental monitoring during construction.

Nechako River Boat Launch

Provided the City with environmental permitting, plans for the boat launch. Created the design of the boat launch based on the environmental parameters collected. Provided environmental monitoring and quality management throughout the duration of the project.

Forest Kerr Run of the River Project

Contract environmental monitoring for the Forest Kerr Run of the River Hydro Electric Project construction in northwest BC.

Environmental Direction and Guidance

Provided environmental guidance for the removal of a coal berm to ensure that no sediment-laden water entered a major watercourse in Prince George, BC.

BC Hydro

Nelson Kenney Creek Site Deactivation

Conducted emergency site deactivation after a culvert was washed out on a sensitive stream near Hixon, BC. Surveyed the site and prepared the necessary plans for environmental approval. Provided all materials, machinery, supervision and labour to deactivate the site. Incorporated fish compensation measures and bioengineering techniques at the site. All plans, permits and works were completed in a short period of time to limit the environmental impact.

Giesbrecht Rd. Environmental and Design of several stream crossings

Prepared Proponent Application Plan based on field stream assessments. Conducted agency referrals for several stream crossings along a major power line near Prince George, BC. Also provided engineered designs, construction and monitoring for all of the crossings.
